Ya se siente llegar a la puerta.
La promesa de algo muy nuevo,
Muy fresco y muy bello. 

Aunque sus pasos parecen muy cerca,
Mi soledad la situa aun lejos. 

Pero aunque tenue ya siento sus pasos
Y casi inhalo la miel de su aliento,
La frescura de su imaginada pureza
Me toca y besa con la ternura del viento. 

No puedo ver su rostro
Mi corazon esta aturdido
La suave fragancia de su alma
Hace que mis ojos imaginen su largo camino. 

Quizas no llegue nunca
Quizas se quede lejos
Pero la dulce  fragancia de su cercania
Hace que mi alma tan cansada,
Casi, casi se sonria. 

Tembloroso presagio su llegada
Y ávido de su presencia,
Trato de adivinar
La verdad de su bendita existencia.
